Earn your Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design with just one further year of study following graduation from the Diploma Course, or by transferring in credits

To emphasize further the uniquely comprehensive nature of our interior design courses and the unrivalled regard in which the qualifications are held, we have an agreement with London Metropolitan University whereby Rhodec Diploma holders with the grade of Upper Merit or Distinction will be eligible to qualify for a Diploma of Higher Education (DipHE) and to submit further distance learning projects to upgrade to a full Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Interior Design - the first and only such programme in the world.

The Diploma of Higher Education
Students who have completed the first five Diploma Course subjects (Materials to Colour) to a suitable standard will be invited to register for the DipHE element of the Diploma Course, which comprises Furniture & Fittings, Part One to the Final Test. A DipHE is the official equivalent in the UK to the first two years of a three year degree course, and holders may be able to transfer this qualification to other universities either in the UK or worldwide. (Those who have not completed the first five subjects to a standard deemed sufficient for DipHE registration will still be eligible to continue the course to qualify for the Rhodec Diploma)

Rhodec/London Met DipHE holders will also be given the option to attend the final year of the London Met BA(Hons) Interior Design and Technology course on a full-time attendance basis in London instead of studying the extra BA element by distance learning. This is not compulsory and we stress that the BA can be earned in its entirety by distance learning.

A Unique Opportunity
No other interior design distance learning college in the world is able to offer this facility. With one further year of study after the completion of the diploma course, the degree is available entirely by distance-learning. No attendance is required, so you can earn your B.A. from anywhere in the world in just the same way as you can earn Rhodec qualifications.

The College
London Metropolitan University, situated near the City of London, has government approval to grant degrees in the UK, meaning that its qualifications are accepted worldwide. London Met offers degree courses in many arts and sciences, and currently teaches 34,000 full- and part-time students.
