Privacy Policy

Online privacy is important to us. As such, it is the policy of Rhodec International to collect and retain personal information only to the extent required to provide necessary services.

Consistent with this policy, Rhodec International collects information in the following ways:

Voluntarily Provided Information

The Institution may collect the following user-provided information to include: full name, email address, postal address, date of birth, social security number, gender, phone number, and course assignments. In some cases students may be required to provide credit card information for billing purposes. If making a request for Transfer Credit students may also be required to provide information related to prior academic history, employment, or military service. If a student chooses not to provide this personal information, he/she may be unable to receive some of the services Rhodec International offers.

The Rhodec International Bulletin Board uses cookies to enable quick login. Without cookies users would have to log in every time they wished to access the various features of the board. Rhodec International requires that users have cookies enabled on their browser.

How Information is Used

Information submitted voluntarily is used to assist in providing information or services requested by the user. Information may be shared with the Department of Education, federal agencies, and/or the various military service branches as required for Rhodec International to function as a nationally accredited institution of higher learning.

Rhodec International may also provide personal information as required to comply with a court-ordered subpoena or law enforcement investigation.

Rhodec International does not sell or rent any personal information submitted by users of the institution's website to any third party.

The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA), as amended, requires establishment and publication of a written institutional policy covering student privacy rights. The law provides that the institution will maintain the confidentiality of all education records.

Confidentiality: Within Rhodec International, only those members, individually or collectively, acting in the student's educational interest are allowed access to education records.

The only personnel with access to Rhodec International student records as permitted by the Privacy Act are as follows:

  • Personnel within the Rhodec International institution
  • Officials of other institutions in which the student seeks to enroll
  • Persons or organizations providing student financial aid
  • Accrediting agencies carrying out their accreditation function
  • Persons in compliance with a judicial order
  • Persons in an emergency in order to protect the health or safety of the student or other persons.

No other persons outside the institution shall have access to, nor will the institution disclose any information from, Rhodec International student education records without the student's written consent.

The Rhodec International Staff is committed to providing every student with prompt, high-quality support at all times. Email is the primary form of contact for Rhodec International students and the institution encourages students to email us with their questions, comments and concerns.
